Queens Zoo Program
Queens Zoo Program presented by staff from the Queens Zoo, funded through CASA Program. Some lesson themes your child will explore include nature journaling, climate and weather, changing seasons, changing landforms, plant and animal fossils, ecosystems (terrariums), plant and animal needs, growing & observing plants, animal life cycles & occasional animal spotlights that focus on native NYC animals and their adaptations, explore animals and science through wonderful hands-on activities each week. In addition, children and their families will be invited to visit the zoo at the end of the school year as a culmination of everything they have learned.
At this time, the Queens Zoo Program is at full capacity.
